How to make a wood processor?

im not worried about the metal needed, or the skill to build. I'm looking for schematics on building something simaler to the Bobcat wood splitter.. Bob Cat wood splitter - YouTube can be stationary. any ideas?:hmm3grin2orange:

I have been pursuing the same quest but I bring home so many shapes and sizes of wood that it would be really tough to make one to take the different pieces. I have already built a monster splitter for my bobcat but now I am going to try to build a new one with a 3" bore cylinder to increase speed and use my other one for the tough ones. Here is my current. I cut, split and stacked 4 Rick in 2 hours which I don't think is to bad. Well having trouble with my stupid smart phone adding pic.

as a kid i got in a bit of trouble and they shipped me to a wood cutting camp for boys, i cut, split and stacked 9 ricks in a day once there, by hand
ran into a staff member a while back in a perkins, he told me the record stands to this day
