hi, while pressing the throttle and engaging the choke, the throttle doesn't stay lock on. how do I have to handle apart? THANKS FOR ANY HELP IN ADVANCE!

Sbishop

PS...newbie, great site!

turn the saw over and at the back there will be a screw that takes a flat screwdriver, take this screw out while holding the handle together. once the screw is out very carefully lift the black piece off. the palm safety may want to jump out so watch for it. note how the pieces go as you take them off. part of the lever could be broken or just not aligned right.
i have included a picture of the screw location to help.

THANK YOU!!!!!

the shaft was broken, wasn't holding the throttle on...took apart my part saw....swap it...first crank way she went instead of 25 pulls...my shoulder fells better already....now where are those big pines??? HA

Thanks again for your help!
