how to sharpen whisper chipper please

could someone please help with sharpening the drum on my whisper chipper

The drum is round. You mean the knives and if you are not set up for it you should send them out to be sharpened.

I'll help you out. Between having the knives sharpened by a machine shop, I touch them up with a Dremel using a sanding drum on it. The sanding drum is only about 1/2 inch in diameter, but run at 25000 rpm, it get the blades very sharp. I do this weekly or even twice a week sometimes, depending on what we are chipping. I can easily go 6 months before changing them out. The secret is not letting the blades get dull in the first place.

I have a Whisper right now, but I was doing the same thing on all my previous chippers, both disc and drum.
