I just got about 700 bd-ft of 4/4 and 6/4 QS white oak back from kiln, all from one tree. I would love to keep it all, but I just don't have enough room to store it, so I would like to sell most of it. Put an add in the local Craigslist. Any other ideas about where to advertise? Anyone in Central PA of N. Maryland interested?

When was it kiln dried? How was it stored after being kiln dried?

White oak in the north east is most easily sold in cants up to 8x8" primarily used as footings that will last a couple of generations. Milled boards sell also however you will need to find your local market niche (start with a wood working club etc).

Just got it back from the kiln. 1/2 is stored in my climate controlled workshop, but 1/2 is stored out in my barn at ambient humidity. Thus, I would like to sell it quickly. This wood is definitely "cabinet" grade. In fact, I'm going to keep some to build a bed and some furniture for my guest room. I would make great flooring and/or cabinet/furniture.
