Hi All,
Arrived back home last night, stranded for three days in the UK while hurricane Florence had a go at Bermuda.
Thanks to all who sent messages of concern, its appreciated!
Bermuda fared really well, despite 100-115 mph gusts there is really no major damage. Non native trees are all burnt from salt and wind, lots of branches and leaves everywhere, gardeners will be raking for days (so will I)! Electricity went out for a while, most places were back on the same day.
I spent the afternoon chasing up phonecalls for work, put four new jobs on the books today, pruning back ripped limbs, some windblow to dismantle.
There are more areas of concern churning across the Atlantic, pray God they are small or steer clear of us!
