I had to cut my muffler bolts off my 266 the other day (froze, then heads snapped off!) and of course lost the pieces. Just curious if anyone knew what size bolts they are?
Husky 266SE muffler bolts??

bigjayfromwa: These are the parts & #'s you need for your muffler. assuming you did not loose brace & gasket.
Part#503 22 23-02 LOCKNUT Qty 2 $1.58ea.
Part#501 68 65-01 STUD M5/M6 Qty 2 $1.86ea. These are special studs with 6mm threads on the cylinder end & 5mm on the brace locknut end.
Should be able to get them at your local Husqvarna Dealer, or order them from Bailey's, they probably have them in stock!
As AZ said ,use the 6 mm even if you were 5mm before.If your saw was mounted on 5mm,you have to install 6mm heli coils before installing the larger ones.The 6 are a lot tougher.
