Broke a fin getting the clutch nut loose. upon closer examination found I wasn't the first person do it to this saw. 2 broke fins = search for new wheel tho 1 broke is enough to merit a replacement, no?

Thanks, Brent

That won't thrash the bearings? I know its a little piece of aluminum but spinning 10k rpm 3 inches from center seems to be lot of torque nonetheless

im with murph. run it. guys with way more xperience than me routinely shave way more weight off pistons and have no problems with balance there. i agree taking one fin off opposite the broken one(s) or making a sort of triangle out of the three. then again someone will prob come along on the next post and have one for $5.....

I will defer to those wiser than me on such matters. That being said I am still looking aforementioned flywheel while continuing to block these oak trunks for fire wood with the saw.
