I bought these at an auction a few weeks ago.
The 350 had some minor scoring likely caused by the crappy plastic intake clamp, and poor carb adjustment (limiter caps were in place). I cleaned up the cylinder following Mastermind's method, and installed a new Golf piston from Weedeaterman (this is a very early 44mm jug, hard to find pistons for it), the updated metal intake clamp and partition, rebuilt the recoil (new pulley and rope), and gave it a new spark plug. It runs, cuts, and oils perfectly. Great shape for it's age, the only flaw is some minor melting under the muffler, which is not visible with it installed. 18" B/C included.

The 55 had some scoring as well, but since you cannot get new pistons for them, I smoothed the piston, cleaned up the cylinder like I did on the 350, and installed a new Caber 51 ring. It got a new impulse grommet as well, and runs, cuts and oils great just like the 350. The saw is in excellent shape, although the chain brake is slightly melted near the muffler, which is common on this model. It's a great candidate for someone with a NOS piston laying around, although it would run fine as-is for a long time. 18" B/C included.

I would do 170 shipped on either saw. Both have the limiter caps removed and hold a tune just fine. No problem accepting PayPal.
