husky 359 trigger/ throttle linkage problems

never mind i think i fixed it up. i just placed the linkage back in there just before where the trigger hits. and it seems to be doing good..
 
My 357 which is more or less the same family of saw . . .

The trigger rod just sets in the square area as you show in one of the pictures.

The wire end connects to the throttle arm on the carb

It sticks through the rubber boot at the back of the carb box before going into the handle through the square hole.

The trigger just pushes on the rod. The spring on the carb returns the rod. There is a spring on the trigger also.
 
Thats exactly what i did and its back to working. appearently it just got sliped up and whent past the trigger and was jamming up not letting it throttle. its all back together now and runs good. wish i had a fast tach, this saw is a runner. id guess 13,500, 14,000 stock... idk if it has a rev limited coil its a black one :)

The 357 and 359 do not have limiters on the ignition coil.

I keep my 357 as close to 13,500 as I can.
