husky 455 rancher mods

I just bought a husky 455 rancher and I'm looking to mod it. I have a friend thats a welder and i was thinking of having him build me tuned pipe and i was wondering have the exit hole be 80% of the exhaust port without a screen. what other mods can i do looking to make max power.

Just remove the limiter caps, and do a muffler mod. Other mods either wouldn’t be effective, or worth the money on a 455. The muff mod will make a noticeable difference..... and they sound cool

I agree.....a simple muff mod and tune would be all you need.

I pulled out my muffler screen, gave it a good tune, added a rim sprocket/clutch drum, and most important slapped on an Oregon LGX chain.
It's far from a light saber but not too shabby for what it is either!
