?? husky carb adjustment

I bought a 372 xp from Baileys 1 1/2 yrs. ago. The saw has the limit stop carb on it, after the brake in period, I tached the saw and couldn't adjust it under 14500 rpm. I do have the special threaded end tool to adjust the carb but, I don't know how to use it. help

Can't you get it to a Husky or Jonsereds dealer and get some help?

I'm not familiar with the newer saws, but aren't those screw stops just little plastic caps? I supposed they could pop off if one were to apply a screwdriver in the wrong place.

carb adj

A small sheet metal screw with the point flattened may screw into the center of the cap and pull it of. Of course I have never done this......................much
