Fm-radio (+husq logos ofc)

:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

oh btw, it was rather cheap, only 170e for whole package :bang:

Nice. Instead of the FM radio, I'd like one that has electronic hearing protection, like these:

But I have not seen this kind of protection offered in a helmet ear muff. Maybe I haven't looked in the right places?

I totally agree, but I don't think Husky offer it in combination with a helmet....

...too bad, really.....

Just curious, what do you want the FM radio for......

isnt that obvious? Its for listening rock&roll while sawing :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

blue, i doubt you can get that kind of muff's to helmet...

Don't you want to hear as much as possible of what is going on??

I skip the ear muffs in the woods, just for that reason - and I like the sound of the saws, also.......

i run a saw almost every day (when the weather permits) and i were a husky helmet w/earmuffs-because i don't like going to bed at night listeninig to a saw, but i will never wear a helmet with an FM radio in it. i like to listen to the saw, the tree, and if anything is falling down at me, i'll listen to my AC/DC on the way home and my 066 at work. the first thing that i do is yank the face shield off and the neckguard. just a passing thought!!!,

Hmmm. I thought it was just me being a rookie, but maybe not. I sure don't want any more noise if I'm running a chainsaw! I need to hear every possible clue if something isn't right. Someone yelling, or a branch cracking, or whatever. I can't do anything about the noise of the saw, but I sure am not going to add to it!

I have the same helmet but no radio and like my saw's it says Jonsered on it.
I took off the neck, rain plastic thing on the back but like the full face visor especially when limbing small dead branches. Does the fm radio head set add weight?

Those kind of muffs are extremely nice. I tried a friends set of Remington's like that while shooting and you hear people talk loud and clear but the gun is just like someone clapping almost. The Remington's are like $120 though. Probably worth it in the end though. Evan

You are paying a premium for it to say Remington on it. The Peltor's are the Gold Standard, and don't cost $120!

Fabulous for shooting, though. Especially on a hot range where you have a lot going on. You need to listen to instructions, but there is a lot of shooting. These kind of 'ears' get the job done while letting you hear your surroundings. Mine are the Tac6. They run typically around $60.

Yeah that's why if I do get a set I'm not getting Remingtons. They are a lot more expensive. Evan

I'd say it felt a tiny bit heavier than my old peltor helmet, but not anything dramatic, id say few dozen grams at max...

IMO, that neckflap is must (atleast over here) its just so frigging annoying when rain/snow/debris fall beneath your shirt while kneeling next to tree...

Sillogger, whats wrong with face shield??

Sawtroll, well, youre deaf already while i still have bit of hearing left so i better wear muff's :hmm3grin2orange:

helmit

Well I don't know about fm but I like the two way radio
type but they are over priced so can't afford but nice
for communicating to groundies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as i'm cutting a tree and looking through the faceshield the sunlight will glare of the faceshield and make it had to see. makes things hard when spur cutting and needing to get the saw out before getting pinched

Si, where is the face screen? Also, having the earmuffs push agianst the hardhat ruins them, the should hang loose. Its true.

the earmuffs aren't pressed again the helmet (popped down like they would be when wearing them) they are mearly spun to the back of the helmet. i don't wear the facescreen, i don't even put them on teh helmets
