HAS ANYONE SEEN THIS? MY NEW C*R AND DR*VER
SHOWED UP TODAY. PAGE 84 AND 85. SEEMS A
GENTLEMAN LOVES HIS PT CRUISER SO MUCH HE
CUT A HOLE FROM HIS LIVING ROOM INTO HIS GARAGE
SO HE CAN OGLE IT ALL NIGHT. HIS SAW OF CHOICE:
HUSQVARNA! LOOKS LIKE A 362/365/372 SERIES.
HAS AT LEAST A 32" BAR ON IT. SEEMS A BIT LIKE
OVERKILL. COULD HAVE BEEN DONE NICELY WITH
A 2149/351!
MAY 2002 ISSUE.

The funniest thing I've read on here yet was "come on man, cut the piano" I could picture the devil himself on Johns shoulder.

That was a riot. I would pay to see a Jpeg of that one, Mahoganey chips-a-flyin' :D

You guys need to stay away from all that stale gas. It's giving you some funny ideas. The wood in my piano's been dead since Andreas Stihl was born. I harbor no ill will toward that musical instrument.

Now, a Samick on the other hand...

chrysler, husqvarna and advertising

I don't follow it real close but doesn't the new Dodge NASCAR team (Ellioit / Evernham) have Stihl as a sponser?? I wonder... whats the connection Chrysler and Husqvarna... and to think the consumers pay for all that glitz... DiamlerChrysler hooking up with the big two??

I'd like to see Husky do an ad wherein that PT Cruiser POS is driven through a wall so the guy can groove on his saw.

McDonalds Restaurant did an ad once in the 70's decrying that they did'nt use beef raised on clearcut rainforest. The ad depicted a 2100 with the bar tied in a knot. Does anyone recall this ad? It would be nice to have a copy.
John

John,

I have never seen that ad but i am looking for a popular Stihl commercial from the 70's. It had a Jeep pulling a Stihl through a rough road. When they stopped it started right up. I would love to see that again.
