Husky piston/cylinder

Hello All,
I am looking for a piston and cylinder for a Husky 272. It needs to be a 52mm set up. I can find original Husky parts, but they are very expensive. Just looking to fix this saw for a backup. Not sure if this is the right forum, but any help will be appreciated. Thanks:greenchainsaw:

No I didn't run straight gas, that is what my brother in law did to my Stihl a couple of years ago!!!!! This is actually a concrete cut off saw that was given to me about 4 years ago and has done a lot of cutting since then. And who knows how much it did before that. Even though I stayed up on filter maint. I think the dusty conditions just wore it out eventually. I had already gone to Baily's and the set I need is out of stock. I just ordered a piston from ebay and will micrometer everything and see how it goes. Hopefully the cylinder isn't too bad. Thanks for the help guys.

Most likley the cyl will be worn intake side, with the dust they injest. Too bad baileys is short stocked, the 372 bb is a good low cost solution.

Timber, what is a 372?? Already bought a brand new saw, just want to repair the old one and have as a back up. Thanks
