I'm rebuilding a nice Husqvarna 2100CD. I bought a set of bearings off the auction website designated for the 2100. Both bearings were perfect; they pressed into the case halves with no drama. The seal for the flywheel side bearing slipped down over the crankshaft and was easily seated into the case. I flipped the block over to seat the clutch side seal and realized it was so far from being the correct size that I must have missed something. I went back and looked at the bearing kit and there were no extra parts, so I'm perplexed, confused, bewildered, dumbfounded...well you get the idea. How do I seal the clutch side bearing.

I looked at the IPL for the 2100 and it looks like there are two pieces I might need to seal the bearing:
1) 501 27 74-01
2) 501 59 82-01

Has anyone tried this before? Are these the right parts?

Thank you and Let's Go Brandon,

Bob

Those two part numbers you listed go on the outside of the oil pump between the clutch drum and pump, more like a seal and ring to keep stuff out of the pump worm gear, not to seal the crankshaft itself.
The seal for the crankshaft on the pto side is 503260205. It presses into the oil pump itself.
