Sold Husqvarna 254 SE

Saw needs air filter and a piston, a couple screws and handle panel or whatever it’s called. The cylinder on it is scored and is no good. Comes with an extra 254 cylinder(bought here off the site) that will clean up nice for whoever wants to build it. I sold this saw here and bought it back due to the bad cylinder. Saw is clean otherwise and would make a very nice piece. $265 plus shipping.

2 questions
1- saw has a bad piston and cly on it, and comes with a good cyl but i need a piston.
Am i understanding that correctly ? even if the old P & cyl is trashed i want it. from your post "The cylinder on it is scored and is no good." p and c are$100 but its nice to have the old one when looking for a replacement, they change skirt window 1 or 2 ring

2 - will the brake still work? I cant tell how bad the plastic melt was from the pic, but thats a part i need and if its not working the after market part app$50 same for used if available.
