Had picked up a Husky 335 a while back and used it for a while, thought it was nice running little saw. Now the oiler has quit working. Searched the site and it appears this is a common problem with this model. Pulled clutch and checked gears all are turning, put some compessed air in the oiler hole and oil came back out of oiler hole. Blue adjustment screw seems a little sloppy, but stays in. Oil is not leaking out of the adjustment screw. With adjustment screw out and saw running I can see gears turning in oiler but no oil coming up. There is no oil at all at the hole with the saw running. Not sure how this oiler system works on a husky saw any help or ideas would be great. Thanks.

Check the oiler pickup hose in the tank for kinks, and the filter for clogs. other than that, I cant think of anything.

Remove the the pump shaft from the pump by removing the adj.bolt first and blow air in oil passage.Check also if the oil line has not a hole in.Did you check the"teeths" on plastic gear in not stripped.I verify on husqui site, there is no service bulletin related about 335 oil pump problem.

my old crack dealer.......oh i mean my old husky dealer gave me some vented oil caps for the 335.....to replace the stock ones. i've since gotten rid of all my husky climbing saws....the oiler was a problem with the 335's ask around with your husky dealer if he can get the vented oil caps.
