Want to Sell Husqvarna 346 OE

346XP (OE).

Recent work done to it:

-4 1/2 point valve job
-Tire rotation (though it is still riding on one donut, so take her slow)
-Fuzzless dice were professionally refuzzed and air freshener replaced
-Broken antenna replaced with a barbecue skewer, with a few pieces of shish kebab still intact

Wait... I think I'm in the wrong room...

Piston was junk when I got it, so I put a new Meteror piston kit in it, along with a good used, clean OEM cylinder, and upgraded the intake to the metal clamp from the loose plastic clamp that smoked it. While doing so, I deleted the base gasket. Saw runs as it should. Also, not shown in photos is the second bar nut.

$350 + the ride.

Yep OE is the smaller. 45cc IIRC.

This saw has a 42mm bore. I have a few other 346's here that have 42mm bores, but this is the only one with a decomp.

OK, it's a NE with a OE (42mm) top end.

But I've never seen a OE with a decomp?

From what I've seen, they were replacement only.

As requested via PM, here is a comp reading. A hair over 160psi.


Also, check out the foliage... although it's all on the ground now. It's nice while it lasts!

160 psi is good for a new piston/ring. It'll go up with use.

Nice color there, ours are just starting to turn. Peak in about 3 weeks, or so.

Yeah, peak was a week ago here. I took a few early morning drives over the passes to take in some color before the 6 months of white stuff on the ground. It's been a pretty dry summer, so we peaked a bit early.
