I bought a used Husky 357 - lots of power and cuts great. One question....Is it supposed to leak oil when not running? I opened the case a few days after using it, and there was chain oil sitting in the case. - The Husky dealer told me this is normal, but my little Stihl doesn't do this.

Welcome. I have a 455 rancher (pos) that leaks bar oil but i blame that on never using it. And my 361c seems to leak a little bit but i think it might be the cap. Other than that all my other saws seem to be sealed up tight.

Thanks everyone........By the way, what would you say a lightly used 357 Husk is worth? - It's in great shape, I bought a whole shed full of tools and it was in the lot.....Lucky me  - more tools that I have no place to put...

Horse pucky.... my 357XP no longer leaks oil because of Hard Knocks. See below...

Stihl025, Please see the attached service bulletin on the sealing of the pump of the 357XP to the pick-up hose. There is a new hose with an improved sealing ring to stop leakage and improve suction. The part # for the Pick-up hose is 537 10 11-01. I would also replace the feed hose part #537 09 18-01
