Okay, here's the problem, this husqvarna is becoming the saw from hell. Here's what has happened wiht it, we brought it to a husq shop and they tuned it up, it ran fine for about 4 logs cut, then when i shut it down and went to restart it, it will start and idle fine, then the problem was that as soon as i touched the trigger, it would die. So after i checked the fuel line for cracks, pulled the choke out, then pushed it back in to make it idle high it would start and i would eb able to pull the trigger and it would run really good, until i let my finger off of the trigger and it would die. I am to the point where I don't know what to do, just wondering if any of you have experienced this or know how i can fix it. Thank you much.

Carb.
If it were me I would check the throttle cable then hoses and start digging in.
But there will be some one by to help.

Yank the muffler and have a look at that piston. If its scored you know the problem. If its not proceed. Either way its only a 10 minute job that can save you hours of agervation.

how old is the saw? it may be as easy as turning out the low and turning in the T screw.

why did you think you needed a tune-up and what did the shop do to tune it up?

Good question and probably why Thall recommended pulling the muffler for a look see.

Fresh tune up, 4 logs worth cuttin, saw craps out = better look! Hopefully it's just a carb issue.

Well, we thought it needed a tune up, because it was running like crap, it was free, so i figure why not, maybe they can figure out what's wrong with it. I don't kow very much about chain saws, so i figured guys that do it for a living, would know a lot more than me. I think all they did was adjust my high low and throttle. I pulled the exhaust off and checked it, no blockage in there, fuel line is good, but i am going to put a new fuel filter in it today and see if that helps, I am thinking it is either fuel blockage, or throttle neds to be readjusted.

Did you look at the piston and inside the cylinder while you had the muffler off? I believe that what Thal was suggesting you to do to look for abnormal wear, scoring.

Exactly. Though its good that he checked the muffler for being clogged he should indeed check the condition of that piston, that was my intent for saying take off the muffler and having a quick look see. I base it on what he said, ran fine for 4 logs and kaboom all the sudden. That usually means something has just occured and most times its internal when it happens in the order he described. Only a 10 minute job to be sure.
