Has anyone done a side cover chain adjusting screw upgrade on a model that did not have that originally? I see kits on ebay cheap and wondering if it can be retrofitted.

All you need is a new clutch cover if yours isn't setup for the tensioner. You'll have to pull out the old tensioner but there's not a whole lot to it.
