280,380,480,285,298,1100,2100, and 2101 caps will all work. I may even be forgetting one or two :) come to think of it the L65 and L77 may also have the same caps. not 100% sure on those though. haven't seen one in years and can't remember :cheers:

You can simply use the current Husky fuel caps. (Even the new flippy caps if you want. ;))

I've got new caps in my L77, 285CD and 2100CD. Husky fuel caps fit just about anything they've ever made. (Exceptions would be some of the smaller saws and things like the Partner sourced 40/45 series.) Much better than with Jonsered or Stihl which had a lot of different caps over the years.

have you tried the oring caps on these older saws spike? and if so how did you get it to seal? I tried before and it leaked like a siv :bang:. it ended up being temporary but threw a flat rubber washer on the rim of it to get it to seal. was sure ugly though :D

I should have mentioned I got a cap. saw came without one, the 61 rancher cap is IDENTICAL
