I am an amateur firewood guy and have been cutting wood for more than 15 years with Husqvarna 450 & 440 chainsaws without any major problems.
Because of maintenance and sharpening the chain after each cutting.
If you have any good experience on the chain saw sharpening and maintenance, please share with me.
Thanks
John

Would like to know of there is, any significant difference in weight feel between those two? (450&440) I am aiming towards your feeling while using them!

Yes! The feeling of weight is a lot different between the 450 440 somehow even through the same 18" bar.😂😂
That is the reason I am cutting with 440 much more than 450.

Tnx.....currently working on my Partner 351 (Poulan 2150).....just out of couriosity.... It weights 4.7kg

But planning to replace it with hva 435/440 or Jred 2240 :) 4.2-4.4kg

Hva 135mk2 weight 4.7kg...so....no gains

I have 450 already....

My 440 is about 10 years old and still runs perfectly.
I measured 450 & 440 weight for the first time in my life.🤣🤣
The 450 with 18" bar weight is 6.5Kg and 440 5.7kg.
The weight difference is only 0.8kg(1.76lb) but the feeling is a lot lighter when cutting the wood.
