Husqvarna 51 oil pump-How do I get to the pickup tube?

My 51 has a white circular part that also houses the silver gear tube and, the plastic gear. There's a rubber seal also. I took all that out and I believe there's a pickup tube that goes down into the oil tank. How do I take that out? I want to make sure it's clean as my oil tank is 1/2-1/3 full when I finish a tank of gas and I was hoping to get a little more oil out...

Here is an IPL for 55Rancher it is the same as 51 except for P&C. Blow through the pickup tube w/compressed air. Will bow out any debris. If I remember right it pulls out through the oil tank. Don't quote me on that. Only removed one.
