Sold Husqvarna 51 PHO $100 good condition

I am selling a Husky 51 powerhead. I don't presently have a bar that will fit this saw. The saw was tested with a borrowed bar/chain and it operates properly. It starts, idles, oils, cuts as it should. The chain brake is present and works properly. It is in good condition mechanically and cosmetically. The piston is clean and compression is good (I measured 158)
I believe it has a .325 sprocket but would have to check to confirm.
This saw would be happy with an 16", 18" or 20" bar in .325
This is an older but well regarded saw.

Pics will come later, haven't had a chance to take any yet but wanted to get this posted. Once I sell this saw, I will once again be Husqvarna free!

For a truck saw, I usually carry a cheapo Poulan like a 2150 or something like that. I sell those for $50 bucks in good running condition and if someone steals it, they don't break the bank. (and strangely enough, never had one come up missing, lol.)

Saw still available. I found a bar for it so will sell it on local CL I guess. If anyone else wants a go at it as just a PHO, let me know before I spin up an odd length chain for the bar I located.

The last Husky 55 I sold went for $190.00. I will list this one for $160 and see what happens. This one is every bit as nice as that one was. Actually looks better.

If you are still at the original $100 I will take it. Not sure when I can get by and get it but will be no later than Sat if you can wait that long. If you dont remember who I am I only live a few miles from you. Got a buddy been looking for his first saw and just bought his first house, figure this would make a nice house warming gift for him.

I would like to work it our where I can get the bar from you if thats ok. I have no bars in a small husky mount.

That is correct. Let me know what you want for the saw with B&C. Tomorrow is no good for me but after that I am sure we can work something out depending on your schedule. I just remembered I have 18" small mount husky bar but I think its for 3/8's and I bet this 51 would be happier with 325. I'll take a look at what exactly I have and we can go from there.

I bought a 51 and 55 Rancher sight unseen (as parts saws) so maybe I'll have another one in the not too distant future. Don't have my hands on them yet.

Ran about a half tank through the saw this afternoon. It cranked, ran, and cranked again as good as a saw can. Very pleased with the purchase and would recommend anyone buying from fearofpavement.
