Ok I purchased about 8 Husqvarna 570 chain saws. I might have more lost count. Here’s the score so far.
1. Runs, a tad low on compression, haven’t checked the decomp valve for leakage. Need Rings?
2. Runs/ cuts like it should.
3. Runs/ cuts like it should.
4. Runs / cuts like it should.
5. Runs / cuts like it should.
6. Haven’t checked it yet, owner said hard to pull rope. Operator error not strong enough.
7. Haven’t checked it.
8. Haven’t checked it. They took the muffler off, the piston looks great. Go figure.
We’re talking a 70 cc pro saw for between $150/$250? Running they are a beast. I can’t pass these up when there affordable, I’m addicted. With any saw they become harder to start when the carb isn’t adjusted correctly. Or they sit for a longtime and the carbs need cleaning. I disagree with the 50:1 ratio. I run them oil rich. Can’t pass up a good buy, take a chance Columbus did?
Are we turning into wusses? We can’t start chainsaws? I taught my kids big trees, big saws, little trees, tops smaller saws. A little saw won’t last long burying a 20”/24” bar in hardwoods.
