Ok one of my friends has a husky model 61 I think it's a early 90's model 91 or something,so I went to cut some cordwood with it today and he was complaining that the chain would stay spinning at idle so I checked it out and sure enough the thing's idle was set at like 4000 rpm:eek: so needless to say I turned that waaaayyyyy down, but it's still having the same problem, then I noticed that the chain would turn even when pulling on the starter cord...What would cause this to happen and I already know that it's not chain tension.Could the clutch be hanging up or something???

I'd think that a stuck bearing would be a pretty good possibilty. I've seen that when it gets rusty, not maintained, or put back together without grease.

Thanks for the help guy's it was a bearing that someone put back together without grease:eek: All better now back to the cordwood today..

Later Rob...
