I am working on a Husky 235 that will go to a freind. The carb needs adjustment but it has splined screws. Where can I get the tool I need to adjust this carb?
Plastic shaft? Like what?
The ones I saw on ebay were $23, probably the best deal going now, them things are super hard to get.If any of you came up with a super secret place to buy one for a decent price- give me a shout. I would like to have one for the new 365/372 carbs.
i used a 16-14 awg disconnect F connector on a poulan saw w/ splined screws.and it worked great.a small flat blade screwdiver fits in the end and was easy to adjust. that info came from ct yank a month or so back. There are crimp-on electrical connectors that'll engage the splines. Crimp the other end onto a bit of solid copper cable, then gently press onto carb screws. I'm told this works great. I got lucky and got an official tool before the embargo and price rise.
