Husqvarna carb tool?

I am working on a Husky 235 that will go to a freind. The carb needs adjustment but it has splined screws. Where can I get the tool I need to adjust this carb?

Drill a hole in a plastic shaft that will fit TIGHT, drive it on pull it off. It works perfect!

There are crimp-on electrical connectors that'll engage the splines. Crimp the other end onto a bit of solid copper cable, then gently press onto carb screws. I'm told this works great. I got lucky and got an official tool before the embargo and price rise.

I keep all sorts of misc. odd ball stuff and I just happened to have a hollow tube that I drilled out a little bigger. It worked great.

I hear heat up a hollow plastic bic pen to fit and I have used the female blade connectors with screw drivers to see before.

I used a brass rod drilled out with a wire gauge drill (21 or 22?)

turned the end down just under .250 and tapped it on the end of the splined screws,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,perfect!

I looked for the tool online and found several different sizes. Which size is the right one for the 235?

I hate to buy a tool because I fixed the 235 for a friend. I don't know if I'll ever get into a small Husky again.

The ones I saw on ebay were $23, probably the best deal going now, them things are super hard to get.

i used a 16-14 awg disconnect F connector on a poulan saw w/ splined screws.and it worked great.a small flat blade screwdiver fits in the end and was easy to adjust. that info came from ct yank a month or so back.

I bought a splined adjuster tool for a Husqvarna137 5 years ago for $7/shipped. These EPA embargo items are just plain crazy.

Apparently EPA doesn't want your saw 4 stroking.... Would rather see it dead so we can buy a new one.

Fine for selling to an end user is $15,000 per offense. Try using 1/4" copper tubing. Will work most of the time for adjusting unless the screws are stiff.

I bought one on Ebay a few years ago $6, but like other have posted they can easily be made.
