Husqvarna depth gauge, Whats the difference?

Quick question, I just ordered a husqvarna depth gauge from a vender and it does not have "EM" stamped on the front of it (505698101) while the picture on husqvarna's site is stamped EM (596285102) It seems I ordered the older part number. What does EM mean? And what if any difference is there between the two gauges? Dimensions, metal hardness ext? Must be something, why else would they change the part number...

The EM. seems to be one of the marks Husqvarna is using to combat counterfeits.
