Hey, people!
I haven't started a thread in quite a while, but I now actually have need of some advice. I am finishing up a project in which I've combined several HVA 162se's (lower end) with a 266xp (top end.) The muffler, carb, and filtering system are from the 162s. The resulting saw starts and idles well but seems to stumble at WOT unless I lean the H jet out to around 2/3 out from the seated position. I have not put a bar and chain on it so I'm not sure what it will do under load. Once the saw is leaned out it really screams, but 2/3 of a turn seems too lean to me. What do you guys think? Oh, I should add that I live around 7,000 elevation. In advance, I appreciate the feed back... I don't want to cook my new saw before its time.
Also, this is my first crack at pictures... they may or may not work
