Hi to All
I am new to the site, just found it not long ago.
I have operated a little small engine shop for years, but I didnt get into old saws, until just recently.
Right now I just have a 07 Stihl that I am working on in my spare time.
Anyway the questions I have, is how thick are the rings on the 395, 394, 372Husqvarna saws,(1.5mm or 1.2mm).
And is most Husky saw piston ring thickness 1.5mm, (i know some 2100s had a thin ring), if not what saws uses thinner rings.
Stihl list these specs on their IPLs, but Husky does not. and there isnt much on the net, seems like!!!
Anyway I have enjoyed the forum, and even though I have worked on small engines for many years, I have learned a whole lot, no longer than I have been here!!!
Thanks for all your help

I'm not sure if this is 100% fact on all models but, with the ones you mentioned, EPA and 2 ring pistons have the 1.2mm and the non EPA and single ring pistons are 1.5mm.

Thanks Grande Dog, for getting back to me, and for the information, I really do appricate it, and enjoy the site.
