Husqvarna timing advances

So I've got a 365 x torq and a 266SE. I've done base gasket deletes and muffler mods on both, and opened up the transfer covers on the 365xt. I've had good luck with timing advances on other saws, simply filing off part of the flywheel key. But I can't find a lot of info on doing that with these two saws. Can anyone advise?

After doing mods to my Husqvarna style saws I was informed by some knowledgeable people that it doesn't really gain anything to advance them.

After doing mods to my Husqvarna style saws I was informed by some knowledgeable people that it doesn't really gain anything to advance them.

I've heard mixed thoughts on it. I am hoping to hear from someone who has actually done it.
