husqvarna's quickest sub 50cc saw??

What husky saw was like the the 346 in terms of power? Infact I think it was the saw that the 346 replaced. 41....42?? I tried to research it on here but couldn't find the thread I was looking for! Any help would be appreciated.
It had something to do with open transfer ports vs closed. I guess it was the de-EPA'd 346??

The double digit numbers were for the non pro class. I have a 42 Special, and a 242XP.

The 246 was the best under 50 cc, not as strong as the 346 .

the 242xp ran up to 15,500 RPM , I think that is the saw you are thinking of

You are right about the 44......definately not it! So its the 242xp? I remember it was smaller displacement than the 346xp. Also it is a rare saw to get ahold of! The reason i am asking is because I might have a lead on bunch of used husky saws from a guy that use to do treework. This particular saw is on my wish list and I just want to be sure incase I find one in this stash of saws.

I have 246 with a narrow kerf chain and modded muffler; it rocks. This saw has a lot of firewood hours on it.
