just been reading for a while about new husky saws, just bought the 74.5 cc 372 was wondering if the carb has a cat, and if so should i change it out. if i should change it out what is the part number for the non cat muffler, thank you all...i bought the saw for bigger wood cuting, i put wp rc chain with 24" pm bar on it. would i be better off with skip chain for this setup? i havent used the saw yet. im used to using my 290 farm boss and husky 350. p.s. i have an old homelite c72 that i want to sell. its all there, havent started it in 2 years though might need a carb kit.

Thanks 2000,its my favorite shooter. dont know what the 72 is worth. I do trust the opinions given on this forum. can a few of u give me some info on what its worth. the saw worked fine last time it was used, about 2 years ago. the sprocket on the bar broke last time it was used and i just retired the the saw cauze ive only used it 3 times in the past ten years...im not a collector .got the saw from a fellow landscaper whom i worked for for 8 years and bought the business from. , he was original owner. i will try and figure out how to post a pick of it soon. i also got 2 echo 302s saws that i havent used in bout 8 years.im cleaning out the shed.

I liked the mini30 a little better than the 14 because of the cheap ammo. Got plenty of AR’s anyway.:hmm3grin2orange:

i went up against my friend standing, open sights, 200 yards,i had my 14 he had his 30, 20 rounds a piece, i hit 17 rounds god only knows what he hit but we do know it wasnt paper. and i know hes a good shot.

I’m sure that’s true, which gun is your friend proficient with?
Didn’t Ruger come out with a heavy barrel version of the mini 14?

Yup, held one today. Feels great! It's Ruger's answer to the target ARs. From what I hear that hold the ARs off pretty good. I'm a AR man myself though:hmm3grin2orange:

heavy barrel with an adjustable muzzle brake. ar's are not my thing, never cared forem they are a little overpriced, my friend loves his hk g3 at least thats what i think it is .308. my favorite is my remington 700 pss in .308 black hills molycoat tack driver. just put a new 2lb pull trigger in it. im not blaming the rifle for any inaccuracy, i know the russian rounds are all over the place. we put same rounds in our ak's and none hit paper at 200 yrds.

I agree on the over priced AR, I'm building one now and it should be sweet. G3s are plain awesome(.308) The PSS is one bad azz rifle too, many sold to swat teams and law enforcement.

I'm going to get one of the piston AR uppers soon...I had a line on a HK 416 but they decided not to sell to civilans. At least I have a load of their AR mags, the best.

I like the 308 round too. Yes, the ar’s are over priced, but nothing like an HK G3.
