Bumped boom on pine tree, broke a fitting and skeeted hydralic oil on truck and yard. concerned about oil on ground and grass. What to do? Also how to clean an oily bucket truck!

Hydraulic oil will kill grass. The best thing to do is immediately use dish soap and water to get rid of the majority. Most often you will have to dig up and replace the contaminated soil.

Many moons ago, I worked at a golf course on grounds crew. All of our equipment used vegetable oil in place of hydraulic oil (mowers, backhoe, excavator, bobcat, tractors) so the grass on the course would not be affected if there was a leak.

For the yard, you're totally screwed. Just soak it with water to get the oil through the topsoil and then replace the grass with turf.
For the truck, go to the Home Depot and buy a gallon of Zep industrial degreaser. Make sure to dilute it and use it with a pressure washer. It works very very well.
