Tony, A friend of mine moved down into your neck of the woods a few years ago. His boss told him to stay home when it snows even though he's used to driving in it...................the locals aren't. Keeping on topic we must mention chainsaws.

u rite tho, about most folks here not knowing how to handle driving in this stuff. but im pretty fair at it.. use to go see one o my dog buddys that owned the top of a mountain up banner elk way.. i wasnt good as him tho.. he drove up that mountain like it was a sunday drive.. id usually have to hike the last quarter mile up..them was good days..

Hey, I can get this on topic :) I had to use my chainsaw to cut my way up the road to check on my elderly neighbor yesterday morning. Our snow started out as rain in the night and was real heavy and sticky. Branches and trees were down all over the place. Old Mr. Scott was fine, had plenty of kerosene and such, but in the process, I got roped into pulling another neighbor's car out of the ditch and cutting up the tree he was trying to drive around. No good deed goes unpunished :p He did let me help him burn some shrubbery, though:cool:

Awwwwwe, I feel so bad for you guys, Most of my snow pack is down to about 2.5 feet exept for off the deck its still over 5 ft. And its been very warm here. I worked in my duofold top and the standard cotten issue short sleeve button up shirt the past two days..... Oh I forgot it was a balmy 22-25 degrees.

Later,
Chris
