I have been using it. was running like a champ then all the sudden it will run fine then die. choking it will save it,.. and if it does die entirely it takes the choke to get it going again. I check at my local Ace stihl dealership. Obsolete for parts. The carb is clean I took it apart and blew through all ports. The fuel supply line looks good on the carb end.But I have not disassembled far enough to get to the other end.. as It looks like a new gasket would be required to split the tank halves . Ok
Now what do I do? Anyone happen to have any relic stihl015lL parts? Impulse line , fuel supply line and the line that goes from the clunk, to the nipple at the tank wall?
Or is anyone up for a challenge? I will box it up and pay shipping both ways. Thanks. I want to keep the saw as it was grandpas. Thanks

carb is clean

Diaphragm is flexible and not a speck of dirt on the inlet side of it.
I will see if I can locate a walbro rebuild kit.. Thanks fish..

There must be another impulse hose from a newer saw that will fit take the old one to your dealer and see if you can match it up. Your fuel filter could cause those problems too try replacing it. Your engine is being starved for fuel so check before the carb first ie fuel lines and fuel filter. If you have good flow to the carb than clean it good install a carb kit and keep us in the loop good luck.
