I don't think it's a stupid post. Some are interested in what people do here. Don't take others negativity the wrong way. It's cool to be proud of what you do!!!

I thought they were pretty impressive size chunks!!!! Trying to figure out how you got them loaded without getting kille/sever back problems!!! I would like to see a pic of the whole tree, standing, or being blocked up. Must have been a sight!!!!!

Uhhhh....OK.

I wasn't trying to be negative, sorry.I guess I should have said what I was thinking....I had my eye on this post as soon as it popped up.I was waiting on more pictures to see if those were stump cuts, mid log cuts or what...Surely there was more to those big chunks than those two peices of wood...Didn't mean to sound like I was putting your pics down dude,I like seeing pics.

No problems.

I wish I had more from that tree

I too like pics so I thought I would add some and not just look at the pics.

I wish I took my camera with me more often so I had some better pics.

Those two pieces were from the section of the tree from about 12' feet to 20'.

it was a white oak

Split it....someone stopped by and asked what I was going to do with it....they wanted it for firewood so I hauled down the road a piece and gave it to them...Not interested in splitting something that big...lol

Love to see the pics from you removal John Paul.

That was what I was thinking. In any case, there's a few good fires worth of wood in those chunks! Heck, maybe even a couple interesting boards could come out of there.
