Here's an old folksong, 'The Frozen Logger', written by James Stevens, an American journalist in 1925. Still popular in logging camps from British Columbia to the Maritimes.
I will try to include more logging tunes as time goes on.

John, I can't get the link to show anything but black screen, but I know the song well. I'd recommend Steve Gillette and Cindy Mangsen's version - quite droll.

Hi Kate, Adrpk is right it's just a song so just turn up your volume.
You're right though, it's a bit like watching paint dry, but I like the lyrics, sung by Dorothy Hogan.

Heres a link to a local guy from Etna, CA - an ol' boozer named Wade Black. He is a pretty good guy, and even though I can't stand country type music he does alright. I hope this works.
