Owner of the bucket must be very upset! Imagine at all the income he will lose with that truck out.The side near the back of the trailer that hit the boom was crunched really good.
The fellow that took the pictures around 8:00 am yesterday said the sun was blinding, so the poor S.O.B. driver probably didn't notice the end of that boom protruding over the parking lot driveway he was backing into.
Or was this truck parked? This is why when I have to have my lower boom over the road I put a guy on traffic so a box truck doesn't hit it.
High truck hit the boom when in the rest?Looks like the boom is folded. I don't get it.
I think it did.Did the box truck catch the small amount of the boom hanging over the end of the chip box maybe ??
Yup.To me it looks like the the tree crew stopped at 'Oliver's' for breakfast, he did not pull up far enough to allow tall trucks, (like delivery trucks) to be able to pull in with the boom over the parking lot entrance. The delivery driver had the sun in his eye's and just pulled in.

Guess not.Truck is a "Hydro One" vehicle.
Hydro One Inc. is Ontario's (Canadian Province) largest electricity transmission and distribution company. They are a publicly funded monopoly. I don't think they'll miss it.
