In the last days i've got a long bar for my saws.(72").
Today i get a chain for it.
Normally this bar is for the 166, but it fits on the 9000 too:cheers:

Yah, what are you going to cut with it??? I have heard from loggers here that they really dread cutting with such long bars. Hard to control, and it really takes it out of you cutting with them.

But wow, that is one long bar there...

Sharpening the chain would be a #####,but wait until you have to file down those rakers......

Great for bucking, though. Especially big old growth stuff. Just get it started, tape the trigger down, sit back and eat a sandwich.:)
If I was going to use it for a falling saw I think I'd put a little removable wheel on the end of the bar and drag it through the woods like a suitcase.

Either of those saw ever been started?

Be a cold day in hell when I drag any of my saws into my house to take a picture. My wife would kill me with one of them.

:ices_rofl: :ices_rofl: :ices_rofl:

I thought that you were going to put a bar handle through the wheel on the end of the bar, and make it a 2 man 'blade' for a second there... had me going. But a wheel for a bar tail dragger? Too funny...

What kind of bar oiler can keep a bar like that oiled though? And does it go through like, a quart of bar oil a minute?
