Good morning. New to the site so maybe this isn't the correct way of going about this but I need the cone off of a bark buster wood splitter. It is a two piece cone and a four bolt pattern on the flat end. I broke the one I have and it appears to be the same type from the pictures I have seen. Thank you for any help you may be able to give. J

In case you need a photo, here's mine. The tip appears to be iron and the rest of the screw is an alloy. You can't have my tip. How did you break yours?

Yes, it appears we have the same tip. A little different application but gets the job done. I put too large of log on it and it got away from me for a second and struck the ground hard and off it came. Broke the steel end out and cracked the alloy. I have a friend that claims to be able to "weld water" so I am going to call his bluff and see what he is made of. The tractor is up in the hey barn behind a 6' drift but I will try to post some pictures this week. Thank you for your reply and keep your ears open for where we can pick up replacement parts. I found the steel part but no luck on the alloy. J

Is yours the kind that bolts to the plate behind with a 4 bolt pattern? I found the steel part but no luck on the alloy. J

parts?

I have a Bark Buster also, (just like the one in the pic from Highbeam) and broke the steel drive shaft that the auger is bolted to today. It broke right behind the flange that the auger mounts to. I need to replace some bearings anyways, but where did you get the steel drive shaft part? If I can't find a replacement I think I will try to weld it up and see how that goes. Thanks Hans

I saw the tips for these being sold on eBay, I believe I was searching "log splitter" at the time when I saw them. Try eBay if you haven't already found them somewhere else, good luck!

I have seen these tips too. If they are the same ones, they are just the tips and I, unfortunately I need the whole end piece including the cast part. Thank you though and keep me informed if you see any.:)

Lawn darts. What a fun game. Darwinism ... gets rid of the dumb ones. Do you wear a helmet when you ride a bike Guns?

Sounds like yours are like mine.

I am really ginving thought to getting a stickler or other type screw and make a hub that will mount to my hub to fix it.
