I've never seen that cage on the back of a truck, what is that and where from?I brought a large order of 40 bags to a local Ace Hardware last weekend. I did not post as I have been extremely busy with my shop build. But I am now out of wood.

It was the explorer sport trac. Not a truck, a little suv.One little ford truck had it too.

I have one of these, also can make them in any size that would be infinitely more sturdy. The one i have was off a Honda Ridgeline, though i didn't believe it was for the risking because it didn't clip into the hinges like it was supposed to.I've never seen that cage on the back of a truck, what is that and where from?
That's when experienced creative thinkers use logic to prevent issues like damaged tailgates and having to pick up the mess of dropped loads etc. If one anticipates a load of material extending past the edge of the bed onto the down portion of tailgate, put full length 2x6's front to back and some 3/4 plywood down flat to stack block etc on.I wouldn’t used it for anything heavy tailgates aren’t made to be load bearing . Saw a guy drop a load of block that was on the tailgate with one of those extenders . Center of the gate bent into a V shape and the cables mounting points broke off
