what part of wnc are you in? I'm north of Asheville almost in TN
I am as far west in NC as you can go and not be in tn. I have worked in and around Asheville for years. My wife has folks in Madison County. What town you located in, I have probably been there.
As far as I know, its all supposed to be wood, but I cant confirm it.

Im in mars hill. Small world.
Been to Mars hill many a time. Wifes folks are from Wolf Laruel. If you know Where the Old English house is, her Grandfather grew up in that house.

Yep know exactly where you're talking about. My parents lived on Puncheon fork years ago.
wifes folks move to Cherokee county in mid 40's. We usually go to the Engish Cemetary for decoration. I know a lot of folks in the hot springs, spring creek area of Madison.
