What part of OZ is this and can you get a closer pictures of the leaves?
Google up mallee scrub trees images, may narrow the field a tad.

Gotta ask due to your plea was it right? Can dig a bit more if not.
But not to many large species of tree in that part of QLD.

Welcome, and of course you are. You got the best answer on TW and I think that is the best avenue. Find the location and take some pic's.

Yeah, everyday at 4am. I leave the house at 5:30. I even get up the same time on weekends. Never used an alarm clock,just always been that way.
