I need a muffler assembly or the two tubes that slide inside of the muffler for a small Husqvarna saw. also need one of the muffler bolts. it's PN H338NS. it fits saws 36, 37, 41, 42, 136, 137, 141 and 142. I don't want to sound like a pain, but I need them yesterday. Muffler come apart while cutting and I lost a tube and bolt in the woods and to make it better, it's a loaner saw. If someone has one they'd be willing to part with, i'll buy it yesterday. Whether it be the whole muffler assembly or just a tube and bolt. Thanks!

That's not a valid Hv PN.

It will follow the convention of-

xxx xx xx-xx

I would check Ebay using the model number. I needed the same part last year for a saw I was repairing for a customer. I couldn't find the one with the tubes from anyone on here, but someone had one for a later model year and fit just fine. If you can post the SN we can help you find the part.

Op and murph, Can you just cut tubes from similar stock, brake line, copper etc.? and use threaded rod I don't know just some out side thinking, I am not fimular with the model at all, sorry If I am out of line.

Guilty, that might actually work. I'd just have to flare the end of it and I don't know how well copper would handle that heat. I think I'm going to just go with the current style replacement muffler

Ok, just a if you need it in a hurry question I didn't even know if it could be done. thanks for entertaining my question

its actually a decent idea. I never thought about it. I was thinking about modifying the tubes from a craftsman saw that I have, but I'm not much of a fabricator. Something that thin would need TIG welded and I don't even know what it's made of, lol. Copper would be easy to fabricate, I just don't know if the extreme heat would crack or warp the copper.
