Come on guys,

Heck you could just pee in the tank could't you. There was a guy here a week or so back saying he used USED hytran fluid as the oil in his fuel-oil mix. he was a fairly new poster so I asked if he was serious and he never responded.

What was your conclusion, Tony?

I was just funnin about the used oil, of course. I sell a lot of bar oil. Seems like every other time I order it comes in a different container.

I fully expect to see Saddam's picture on the package one of these days.

ive found most bar oils are good. different saws oil at different rates.there are times that call for adjustments in oiling and thining the oil. sometimes the results are as good as any power tuning could be.imho
this is an ever changing item due to changes in temp. guess the answer is to learn your particular saws. thiis is really true of most power equipment . also why i learn a tool and stick with it.
