I need torque specs for a 2008, 9 hp Briggs and Stratton engine on a leaf vacuum, 122032-0147-B8. I need the connecting rod cap torque, the head bolt torque, the bore specs and piston specs. This thing is burning oil like crazy yet to has 110 lbs of compression and runs nice. I just pulled it apart and found no broken rings and a cylinder that looks beautiful, except there is no cross-hatch on the cylinders walls. That and the wear evident on the piston skirt makes me suspect that it has a worn sleeve, therefore I need to know the tolerances to figure out if I need a sleeve and/or a piston.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris,

I would contact Briggs and Stratton directly at 800-444-7774 and have your engine serial number ready. they should be able to give you that info you need.

Hope this helps!
