I'm looking at buying a Poulan Pro 445 and can't find anything on it. It looks a lot like a Jonsered 2071. Does anyone know about these saw, have the speck on it ect. Thanks!

It looks just like it! However, the one I'm looking at clearly has Poulan Pro 445 on the side. Looking to see just how big a saw this is and anything else I can dig up on it.

I think its strange that the PP 445 isn't listed--as if it doesn't exist. However, there has been some posts on the model and the talk is good. Surely someone has some info on this saw???

The Poulan Pro 445 was introduced 1996. It was 71cc and as pointed out above was in same family as 405/425. Bore: 50mm, Stroke: 36cc, Dry weight: 14.9 lbs, Bar mount: D009, Fuel tank: 850cc, Oil tank: 400cc.
If you want copy of brochure with specifications, send me a message.

Acres site doesn't show a 445 just the 425 and 455.

It fits that the 445 was a late addition to the "family", as so was the Partner version (P710).

There are quite a few models that aren't listed on Acres site, he has no chance of knowing everything that happened with all the brands. :givebeer:

I know this is an old thread, but I have a saw that is stickered up as a Poulan Pro 455, but I just noticed the tag is PRO 445. Is it a typo? When I search a 455, the pictures are correct to this saw, where 445 isn't coming up with anything like it.20150828_192334.jpg 20150828_192252.jpg 20150828_192300.jpg 20150828_192311.jpg

That's a 455. The 445 is based on the jonsered/partner style of the newer saws.

The 445 was a Partner design, made at the Husky factory in Sweden. Although they were made at the Husky factory there was no Husky version - only Partner 710 and Poulan Pro 445 for this one (71 cc), but Jonsered as well for the larger cc models.

The 455 was something totally different, a Pioneer design made in North America (Pioneer -> Pioneer Partner (that only was a sales/marketing stunt, not a production brand) -> Poulan Pro).

The 710/445 may well have been the best saws in this "family" in some ways, as they have a quad top end, unlike the older models in the family.
