I've been looking all over the web but am having a hard time finding an insect calendar for zone 5 (Iowa). I'm putting together a training guide for our new hires and it would help greatly to have this visual info included.

A fungus/diseas calendar would be nice too.

Thanks

Try this page: Bulletin 504.

Growing degree day targets are a better way than a calendar to anticipate pest emergence. This bulletin can be purchased from OSU. Or see if your library has a copy of Indiana's old E-41 pest bulletin. That has been superceded by above publication. E-41 was indexed to insects in Insects That Feed on Trees and Shrubs. I haven't read the new one above yet - it may also be indexed that way.

And if you don't have Insects That Feed on Trees and Shrubs, order it and Diseases of Trees and Shrubs from Cornell University Press.
